Sincerest Apologies...

My sincerest apologies... I promised a week of photos of China, and I have been slacking.  I had two more posts full of life in China and the Tourist Trap photos for you, and I have been way behind on photo editing, and posting these photos... and it's all this house's fault.

You see, we're living on base here in Korea in a 2 bedroom apartment.  Most people know I'm a complacent person, and honestly, the apartment would have been perfect if it was just the hubby and I.  However, in a few months, we'll be adding to this family (Lord willingly if all goes well with the adoption)... and we still have another 2.5 years left here in Korea.  Needless to say, I ventured off base the other day, to meet with a friend, and she shared with me that this house is open and ready to be moved in.  I was sold on the idea... had to convince the Mr.... and after meeting with a realtor, negotiating a price with the landlord, it's been declared as "ours"!!  It still needs to pass inspection before we can start scheduling movers... but right now, it looks like we're going to be living in a house soon!  The homes in this area are painted these RIDICULOUS colors, but I love how bright and cheery they are.  Sort of remind me of Florida in some weird way.  I will only share pictures of the outside, for now... but in a few weeks, I'll take you through each room and post about them.  For now, I will leave you with a couple other "outside" shots...

  1. lol ~ reminds you of Florida because we have crazy colored houses like that here too... reminds me of ND, too, though because on the Indian Reservations where all the houses are literally cookie cutters they would paint them all kinds of wild colors too ~ so they would be distinguished from the others. :O)
