There's a first for everything...

Boy do I have a treat for you today. You all know that photography has been a huge passion of mine for quite sometime now... lately I have been feeling a bit disconnected from my camera. In Europe I found that it was super "easy" to find things to photograph. The scenery was gorgeous... there was always something unique to every country that we visited. The Netherlands, had their gorgeous tulip gardens, bicycles in ANY color, tall and skinny homes, and canals. Germany had bike paths, farmland and trees, festivals and celebrations, and who can forget the castles. In Belgium it was the "French" influence, and the presentation of the food, and the estates/villas, or antique markets. I mention those three, because we lived in one, and could easily jump into the other two on any given day (Netherlands-2 minutes away, nearest Belgium border-15 minute drive). Now, don't get me wrong... Korea, is beautiful. Everything intrigues me, especially the people. They look so different from us, that it's really hard not to stare at times. The streets here are lined with beautifully painted murals (all different), and the flowers, as you can see from the previous post, have just amazed me! But, I wasn't picking my camera up to capture much of this. I've been neglecting... and I know, "Shame on me." I was recently approached by a new friend here, to take some pictures of her little girl. She is such a precious little one... and there was no way that I could resist. It was my very first "photo session" and by all means, I am no professional... but I had a blast. Enjoy some of my favorites.
