2 become 1

One of the Mr.'s co-workers was married this past weekend. We had a fabulous time, and it was interesting to see how the Koreans celebrate weddings... although, from what everyone has told me... it was a Western/Korean wedding... and not a traditional Korean wedding. Well, in any case, the bride was absolutely stunning, groom was handsome, and the food was delicious. I just had to share with you all.

'Stache Bash

This past weekend, we were invited to a friend's birthday party... her husband planned an amazing and well executed mustache themed party, a " 'Stache Bash", and it was crazy fun! The attention to detail was spot on, and I just HAD to share it all with you! Enjoy... and might I say, it was super difficult eating the yummy cupcakes with a big hairy thing on my upper lip!

It's all about the Green Tea

A "near and dear to my heart" friend and I recently went on an overnight Girl's Trip... you see, that "near and dear to my heart" friend is leaving the peninsula in a few days and heading back to the states to start a new chapter in her life... and it was imperative that we had at least one outing before she headed out. Considering we've only had a precious 3 months of getting to know one another, we've clicked from the start... and heading out to Boseong, was the perfect way to celebrate our time together. So we packed our overnight sacs and headed out on a bus to Yulpo Beach (where we stayed overnight in a "guesthouse") and then to Boseong Green Tea Plantation the next day. It was beautiful, and I'm so excited to share this with you.

When we arrived at the Green Tea Plantation, we took a little bit of a sun break by checking out the "shop" and eating some cold green tea noodle shop. Then we headed out for a hike to the actual plantations.

Cereal Party

Yesterday was a dear friend's birthday... and what better way to celebrate than to throw a surprise party. Her husband planned it all, told me all the ideas, and I went to it! I couldn't resist making the cereal box party hats. Also had to make a Rice Krispie treat cake... I think it was a big hit! Such a "one-of-a-kind" party for a "one-of-a-kind" friend!

A Rice Krispie Treat birthday cake... perfect for a Cereal Party!

Then, of course we had to have a photo session with the party hats...

Almost Mr. and Mrs...

This weekend was a PACKED full kind of weekend, but we wanted to squeeze in a celebration for one of the Mr.'s co-workers who is getting married next weekend. Yup, that's right, that's what the "partay" bunting was for... which by the way, you still have time to enter that giveaway, it doesn't end until this Thursday! It was a simple and fun bbq to celebrate the soon-to-be Mr. and Mrs.

Sorry for the lack of photos... you know how it is when you host something at your house, there's hardly every time to go around with the camera and snap away! Next weekend is their wedding, and I'll report back with LOTS of photos of the lovely couple...

Blessings to you all this weekend... what have you been up to?

I also just realized... this is my very FIRST blog post where I haven't added a picture... what has this world come to?

A whole lot of yumminess...

The other day I was blog stalking... yes, I do that from time to time... okay, I do that everyday. Well, one of the gals that I enjoy reading, is Ilene from MuchLoveIlly, and I came across her recipe for some scrumptious little yummies. People, these are the easiest thing to make and they melt in your mouth. I followed her recipe, minus the fact that I didn't make peanut butter cookie dough, I used chocolate chip. Still turned out awesome! Here's the steps, minus the directions... go check out her blog, and her post on the cookie recipe if you want to know specifics. But they were super easy to make... and it was even quicker for them to disappear.
