Not too long ago I received a request from a friend, for a "Toothless"... now unless you've seen the movie, "How to Train Your Dragon"... you are completely lost and have no idea what I'm talking about. May I just say, that the movie is AWESOME, and if you haven't seen it, you need to
stop reading this blog post and watch the movie rent this movie IMMEDIATELY! You will LOVE it.
Now, back to my custom order... I received a request for a pillow-sized "Toothless"...and I had NEVER created a stuffed animal before. I had NO idea where to begin, or what to do...but after lots of research (movie watching involved) and finding the perfect fabric... I ended up with this:
Oh, and I'm pretty sure he's a lot bigger than a "pillow" size!

ReplyDeleteMy son adores that movie! His entire room is decorated from the movie and all of his Christmas gifts were dragon themed. This is something he would love as well.
ReplyDeleteYour nephews knew who this was immediately...and I also got a "Mom, can we make toothless?????" You know you could make a killing sewing those up...did you use a pattern or freehand it?? ~Tini
