BE... Inspired: Day 2- Passing Notes

Thank you ALL for joining me yesterday at kicking off this wonderful series on "Inspiration".... today I have a treat for you... I recently "friended" Rachael, from a card exchange, and it's amazing to see how much inspiration her blog Passing Notes offers. She is so darn cute, always has FUN outfits (features posts on her "style diary"), shares amazing recipes and has the cutest cat!

So, without further adieu, I introduce you to... Rachael...

A bit about me:

I am 28 years old currently residing in NYC with my boyfriend (Wendell) of 4 years and cat (Penny Lane). We're a happy little family with busy lives Wendell is a banker, Penny is the exception. She mostly naps, eats, and plays, and every once in a while when she's craving attention eats my hair and paces around our heads while we're trying to sleep.

I work full time for the U.S. Fund for UNICEF as the manager of creative services (I'm a graphic designer) and blog on the side for myself and Lovely Bridal Shop where I am the style and beauty editor. So, needless to say I'm generally a busy gal and have apparently taken the NYC pace of life to heart.

I got into blogging just over a year ago when I realized that pretty much anyone can start a blog and that I had something to say. It turned into what I'm calling a 'lifestyle blog'. There's a lot of fashion, food, design, and other random tidbits. My blog is constantly changing and evolving as I'm inspired by different things.

What am I inspired by? I think the better question is what doesn't inspire me?!...I find inspiration everywhere: blogs, magazines, books, music, art, people in the streets.

NYC is full of uber trendy people and there isn't a day that I don't spot someone wearing something and think 'I should try that' or see a great design in Comm Arts and tear it out. I love browsing through photos so sites like Pinterest and tumblr are regulars for me.

Thank you so much for sharing Rachael! Isn't she wonderful? Make sure you leave her some love everyone! Also, be sure to tune into tomorrow's guest post... you won't want to miss it!
