It's taken a year of living in Korea to FINALLY make it to the famous "Flower Market" in Seoul. And since my visit, I've asked myself, "Why did it take me this long?"... when I say it's the nicest smelling place in Korea, I do not lie... when I say it's the brightest and most colorful place I've been to in awhile, I do not lie... I almost felt like a kid in a candy store. I didn't know where to begin. So thankful for friends that sort of "tugged" me around (led the way) otherwise, I probably would have stood at the front door with my mouth wide open, until the place closed. Everything was eye catching- the flowers (no brainer), the Koreans (even the ones sleeping in their "beds"), the vessels to hold the beautiful flowers, the ribbon and ornate decorations. Truly, what a wonderful place.. a place that I will visit often.

So colorful.. I love it. Makes me ready for summer -- I'm tired of all the dreary colors around here!
ReplyDeleteThat is sooo beautiful. I've never seen sooo many flowers in one place. I hope I get to go to Korea one day and visit that place. Thanks for sharing!
