There's something magical about creating outside the box ... it's
refreshing to create something fun/unique, without my sewing machine or my camera (which are my primary artsy fartsy means). A few weeks ago, I won a raffle at our MOPS meeting, to create pottery at a shop here in Korea, called "Clay and..." and today I went, with my dear friend Anna and had a GRAND time. I was able to pick and choose which pieces I wanted to paint, draw whatever I wanted on them, paint them however which way I wanted to, and had sweet fellowship/conversation with the owner, and new friend Kyoung Mi. What an amazing artist she is, and Anna and I were laughing/giggling the entire time.... it was good times. Want to know a secret? I even made one of you, my readers, something beautiful.... a giveaway with the final creation will happen soon, so stay tuned. My lovelies have to be "fired" first, but you can get a little taste for what I made through the pictures... and you better believe that I'll be going back and spending more time with Kyoung-Mi soon.
What fun!
