Glimpses

Awhile ago, I prayed a special prayer to God... I asked Him to show me "glimpses"... little gifts for Mama and Papa, that Charlotte was "getting" it... that she was responding more and more to us (as her parents), and that we were breaking down the walls around her (figuratively) that were built from living in an orphanage ALL of her life. Each day Charlie lets us kiss her more and more, she allows/trusts Papa to toss her around like a little ragdoll toss her up to the sky, she never wanted to ride on any of the playground equipment and now sometimes feels like a "swing", and seems to be enjoying her time with us (saying "bye bye" and heading back to her class seems to be getting difficult for her to do).

Today, we were graced with a "never before seen" moment... as we were feeding Charlotte a banana (she says "num num" and points to her mouth), all of a sudden, she put her fingers together and said, "More"... all cute with a Ukrainian accent. We couldn't believe what we heard... she said it once, and then was done with it. We looked at each other in disbelief, raised our hands in praise to our Heavenly Father, and then answered our sweet little girl with, "Yes, Charlotte... God ALWAYS has more for us... He blesses us daily."
