Lessons Learned: August 7
- I find it fascinating when the little one searches "high and low" around the house for "Da Da" while he's at work... what is she going to do, when he's gone for 6 months early next year? I am already ever so grateful/thankful for SKYPE, facebook, youtube, etc.... how did everyone do it eons ago?
- Good thing about the hubby/Papa not being home for dinner- I can put his meal on my plate when I'm done, and that means I only have to wash one dish!
- Coffee in a quiet place needs to be taken "to go" now... no ifs, ands or buts.

- Need to hang out with dear friends more often... time is wasted when a week goes by without seeing them.
Now it's your turn... I want to hear all that you've learned this week... funny, wise, new quotes, etc... (sarcasm is completely welcome)... and link up dear friends!
Feel free to use my banner when creating your own list, but please link my blog to your post... Happy Sunday everyone.
** This upcoming week, I'll start a day of some photography tips. We'll start basic, and work our way up. If there's ANYTHING in particular that you'd like to see explained, please write me and let me know, or even comment in this post!
Ooooooh From In is AWESOME! But yeah, there's not a whole lot of "let's sit here quietly and relax" anymore, is there??
ReplyDeleteJason has to be gone for 6 months??? I'm SO sorry!!!!!!!
When one goes down, they ALL go down, except Mama....she becomes everyones nurse.
ReplyDeletehome isnt a place where you were born and raised, its where your heart lyes with your loved ones!
ReplyDeleteGod really worked in my heart this week... don't really have words for it yet but maybe I'll start my own blog and you can read about it there. (((Karen)))
ReplyDeletei have to wake up with the birds to have a quiet moment alone with my coffee…so i know what you mean!
ReplyDelete& i agree about skype being a HUGE blessing! my husband is going in the military as a chaplain & has been away for a couple months here & there … what would we have done without skype?!?!, i don't even know…
praying that this coming week is wonderful! i love your blog. ♡
Looking forward to the photography tips! My mom was pretty good. My sister is great. And me... pretty average.
ReplyDeleteSo the biggest thing I have learned as a military mom overseas, is to take advantage of the early bird hours at the commissary! My lil'guy is an early riser and doesn't take his first nap until 9am...I find it easiest to get my grocery shopping done between those hours on early bird days. The place is a ghost town, you can shop quickly, and if your little one is running around or making noise there is no one in there to care! Tuesday-Friday our Commissary opens at 7am! The shopping is blissful & beats a weekend trip any ole day!!
ReplyDeleteI'm also very thankful for Skype, Facebook, etc. We are facing another deployment that I know will be here sooner than I think.
ReplyDeleteI'm so excited for the photography tips to start! I need lots of help.
