24+ hours

Sorry that it's been a little quiet in these neck of the woods lately... I've been preparing/packing for our big trek to the states tomorrow. It'll be 19+ hours of travel (in the air and layovers), and an additional 5 hours getting to the airport and waiting for our flight. It'll be a busy 24 hours, but it's totally worth it, when Papa is going to be waiting for us in Atlanta. We are so excited to have some time together in the states... his schedule (even with this schooling) is way light compared to his work in Korea... and Charlotte and I are just so ready to LOVE on him like nobody's business. She misses him, and I'm pretty sure she understands that we're going to meet him. Pray for us... I'll be doing this by myself, and I'm so grateful that God has given me the strength this far, and the staminato get this all done (We'll be meeting with Immigrations, so Charlie will be a US CITIZEN!) Next time you see her cute little face on this blog... she'll be an American (that's if we make it out alive!)

Lessons Learned will start back up again next week... and same with our next photography tip (sorry I'm a slacker, but I just didn't have the time). Stay tuned... I do have a great giveaway coming to you soon!

I never realized how much fun it is to pack for a little one... they hardly take up any room (which means we get to go shopping in the states).

Cannot wait to hand off this packet of paper... it's been like a paperweight on my body...

  1. YAY! Have fun in the States. Haha, go figure I pick the wrong week to write my lessons learned post but that's ok! I understand being too busy! :)

  2. You can handle almost anything for 24 hours, although flying with a toddler might be pushing the limits a little bit. =) I will tell you, when I flew back to the States from Italy by myself with my 2 yo, she was AMAZING! Only had one minor meltdown in the airport, but other than that, NO crying in the planes or anything. She surprised me. Hopefully Charlie will surprise you too! Good luck and don't forget to just BREATHE. It'll be okay, I promise.
