Korean Folk Village

Just a few miles away, in the city of Suwon... lies the Korean Folk Village. It's such a sweet place (that I feel every visitor needs to see), so it's no surprise it's one of the first places that we took Aunt Courtney. There's tons of running around area (Charlie only complained when the sandy dirt road kicked up into her sandal-which was after about every step), lots of flowers to smell (or in Charlotte's case pluck the petals), lots of beautiful old pagodas/buildings to gawk at (Charlie wanted to climb each and every stair she couldfind), and plenty of performances/"shows" (that surprisingly Charlie sat through-with the help of animal crackers). I think my favorite part is people watching, and I did plenty of that as well. Charlotte saw her very first cow and horse, and she had the sound effects for cow, "moo", down pat by the time we left. I'm pretty sure she enjoyed her time (when she wasn't getting "dirty") and I'm sure we'll be seeing more of the village sometime soon.
