Being "offline"

Sorry that I have been "offline" the last few days. Being "offline" has never felt so good. ... the "grandparents" came down for a visit, and we have been giving them all the attention that we can. Charlie is in love, and I'm pretty sure the feelings are mutual. She can't get enough swinging, holding, jumping, etc... and even after hours of playing, she still has tons of energy (I'd LOVE to figure out a way to bottle it up, and drink it). We've spent some time in downtown Montgomery at the Riverfront, at the zoo, and at the park... and the weather couldn't be better!

Along the waterfront, we stumbled upon a musician from NY, who "let" Charlotte play guitar with him. She held an amazing rhythm while strumming... we're definitely thinking that there will be guitar lessons or some sort of musical instrument lessons in her future.

and this last photo, pretty much sums up how the last few days with Papa D and Grammy D have been going... oh the attention withdrawals this girl is going to go through when we head back to Korea and it's only her and I for a few days/week before Papa gets home. Whatever will I do?

  3. I can not take the blog updates today. I have tears streaming down my face. I just know that those grandparents are so darn happy to spend time with your little Angel. My other friend that I told you about before you adopted just brought a very sick boy home from China (yes that is three boys in less than a year)!! He had open heart surgery today & the pictures on her blog show pink nail beds & pink lips. Tears of joy for both of your precious families for following in God's footsteps! Miracles are happening!!!

  5. Wait a minute, I was THERE. I saw what you saw. I took pictures, too . . . and MINE DON'T LOOK HALF AS GOOD!!!! We love Charlie . . . but we love Charlies' Moma and Papa, too (probably not enough to swing you high in the air . . . but we'll jump off of benches for you!!!!!! (inside joke, for all of Karen's blogisphere friends to wonder about). Two days down, but we still have two glorious days left to spoil Charlie rotten. Ahhhh, the life of grandparents!
