December 1

I cannot believe it's the last month of 2011 already... seriously, where has this year gone? I'm not going to dwell on the fact that it's nearly over, and I'm certainly not going to complain about this being the last full month that Charlotte and I have DaDa home before he leaves us for 6 months (there will be plenty of blog venting at a later date... or you just won't hear from me, because I'll be too busysitting in front of the tv watching chick flicks and eating ice cream for awhile).... so today, to welcome in December, Charlotte and I headed to the Christmas Shop/Flower Market in Seoul, at the Express Bus Terminal. It was decorated so beautifully... and I didn't take too many photos, because I was busy trying to keep Charlotte from touching EVERY single light on EVERY single Christmas tree (there were A LOT... I'd say enough to decorate every South Korean home)... but I did manage to take a couple. I will certainly be heading there again, perhaps next week after I pull out all of my Christmas decorations. What I can tell you, is that it was a place filled with inspiration... I'm pumping myself up to decorate the house. My favorite sight, was definitely the yarn ball ornaments... I feel like I need a million of them all around the house...

  6. Beautiful! So, was it normal to celebrate Christmas in Korea then? I just assumed that would be something we would leave behind, but maybe I should look into it! :)
