There's nothing better than a lollipop... according to Charlotte... than a new skirt for school yesterday. She JUMPED for joy yesterday morning, as I showed her, her very new skirt... and was super excited to get home from school, to take pictures just for you! I purchased half a yard of this beautiful Amy Butler fabric online, and it made the sweetest little circle skirt for her. I keep on surprising her with something new for each new day of school, and I'm probably digging my own grave. I'm thinking there's going to be a day when I'm WAY too exhausted to create, and she'll wonder what happened to me! But for now, her joy keeps me going...
not just her joy... but small little chit chats with the hubby totally keep me "sane" as well.
Mmmm... now *I* want a lolli! Hope I get to meet that sweet girl soon!
ReplyDeleteSo impressed with your handmade challenge you've given yourself. You're an amazing mama.
What a cute outfit . . . you know, I'm not sure that little girl can GET any cuter!!! She is loved, and her moma is making all the difference in the world. Dada won't even be able to recognize her when he gets home. Skype is good, but real hugs are best . . . and you are both DUE some. Thanks for sharing Char's new outfit. BEAUTIFUL work, mama!!!
