"hers"...

I completely failed to post pictures of Charlotte's second day of school outfit. It was too cold that day (I'm talking in the negatives that day with the windchill factoring in), and so, I waited for it to warm up, and redressed her in it. As soon as I pulled out the skirt again, she was SO excited. It's a handmade skirt, by moi.... and she just adored it the second time wearing it, as much as the first. To make this skirt a little different then the first... I kept it a single layer, and added a pocket to the front. I even added some hand stitching, a completely small touch, that adds so much cuteness to the skirt. I had to make sure that it passed all of her requirements... and I'm pretty sure it did. Hoping to keep up with this trend of creating something one of a kind/handmade for Charlie to wear each time she has school... we'll see how long this lasts. I suppose seeing her reaction to each and every creation, and that big smile she gets knowing it's "hers"... completely makes it worth it.

On a separate note, yesterday it was warm enough to ditch the boots (for the day) and pull out my old Vans... and it felt SUPER great.
