Wired

It's Friday... and all this Mama can think about, is when the little one will be heading to bed, so she can get some "shut eye" in herself. The problem with that is... every time I try and head to bed around the same time (or shortly after) Charlotte does, I end up with a million and one ideas in my head that need to be jotted down (note to self, lay a pad and pen on my nightstand next to the bed), or think of a craft idea/project and how it needs to be "tackled", or poses for photography, or just an item that I need to remember to pick up at the grocery store. I've been so super forgetful, that I have to write on my "to-do" list, to remember to tank the car full of gas... lets just say I nearly ran out a few days ago.

I've been resorting to "staying alive" through coffee... and I'm thinking I might just have to cut myself off... I know {gasp gasp }... at least for a little while... I'm so WIRED that I can't seem to fall asleep at night, and I think the caffeine seems to be playing a huge part of that. So for now, I'm cutting it off after 12:00 in the afternoon... which is the toughest, because that afternoon cup of coffee is ALWAYS my favorite cup...

In the meantime, one of the craft projects I'm hoping to finish up this weekend, is my chicken wire frame... It's going to help turn my boring dining room into something FUN, and WHIMSICAL, and RUSTIC... or so I hope!

on a separate note... every week the hubby is gone, I'm buying some flowers to display in the jars on my dining room table. It's amazing how something so small and little brings a smile to my face.

Linking up with my sweet friend, Lindsay over here.

  2. I am a coffee nut. But I think I am so immune to it that I can seriously drink a cup or two at 7PM and still manage to fall asleep at 8PM lol... weird.

Love the flowers, so bright and cheery :)

  3. Ooh the flowers are just perfect! I need to start adding more fresh flowers to the house too! I hope to have a cutting garden of zinnias this year so I won't have to buy them ;)
