Yes, I finally caved... a friend of mine lent me "The Hunger Games", and I dove right in... along with some coffee... and I couldn't be happier. While Charlotte has "quiet" time, I have my "quiet" time... and it's been my lifesaver these days. It's nice to have a little peace and quiet around here, and a great read makes it all the more worthwhile. I'm only half way done, but I'm already excited for book 2 and 3... maybe it was a good thing to wait to read them, after the trilogy was completed. Either way, I caved, and I'm so happy I did.

LOL, I finally caved last week. A friend was like, well, wait in the world were you waiting for? I don't like reading books JUST because they're the "in thing." I will say, because I wish someone had told me, that I found book 3 to be slower than the first two. And that same friend agreed. Just so you know. =)
ReplyDeleteyay!!! I did too about two weeks ago :) I read the first two real fast (within a week) and I've put off starting the last one b/c we had guests from out of town and now I just don't want it to end! Glad you're enjoying it...it's a nice escape!
ReplyDeleteIsn't it good?! I read it in two days!
ReplyDeleteGIRL YOU MUST TELL ME IF YOU ARE TEAM PEETA OR TEAM GALE (team peeta please so then we can fangirl!).
ReplyDeleteI have the first book just sitting waiting for me, I need to just sit down and read!!
ReplyDeleteI bought the books for my husband for Christmas, and read all three before he even had a chance to pick up the first one. I loved them! Can not wait for the movie to come out.
