Peanut Butter and Jelly sandwiches are SO yesterday... our snack food most days lately, are banana and peanut butter... who needs the bread? I know this combination isn't a new combination... but with all the crazy new combos in the food world (Cream cheese and hard boiled eggs on a bagel, chocolate cake with pinto beans, fritos and caramel sauce, gravy and biscuits with grape jelly, etc.) this one still stands as one of my favorites, and Charlotte seems to agree 100% What are you favorite combinations?

Apples with caramel sauce or peanut butter. Carrots and peanut butter come a close second.

Crunchy peanut butter on Ritz!!! . . . but peanut butter on just about anything will work.
ReplyDeleteMy 10 year old just takes a spoonful of peanut butter and eats it like that...come to think of it, his older sister used to do that as well! They are definitely peanut butter kids...but no jelly. When I got married a few years ago I had to start buying jelly for my husband...who knew? We're big on ranch dressing and carrots or cucumbers around here too...and of course, chips and salsa! :)
ReplyDeleteI like BBQ sauce on fries... fresh dill and chives on a baked potato with lots of butter... guess those aren't so weird but I never liked dill until this pregnancy (never in my life)... if you like pinto beans and chocolate cake I bet you'd like the black bean brownies I make, too :) *hugs*
ReplyDeletepeanut butter and nutella, peanut butter and marshmallow cream, sea salt on cucumbers or tomatoes or even melon. Apples with caramel and then crushed nuts...ok, NOW I'm hungry and I already ate dinner.
