After 5.5 months of separation... the day FINALLY came... June 16th, the hubby graduated from Weapons School, and I couldn't be more proud. He DID it! It's a huge accomplishment/achievement, and I couldn't be more excited for him (and all of his fellow classmates that made it as well). Both sides of the family joined us in Las Vegas to celebrate... and it just felt GREAT (even though we were missing my sister and her family). It was a night to laugh, and celebrate... which is what we're all about, right?

(all seriousness aside... you could tell the hubby was ready to relax and enjoy the evening when he "held" hands with my little brother in our family photo!)
It was my very first time seeing my handsome husband in his "formal" uniform...and I definitely couldn't take my eyes off him... There's no other side that I would rather stand next to... I sure did miss him.
Congrats! You guys both look great too. ~ Jenn Lucia

ReplyDeletea night . . . a week . . . we will NEVER forget. Didn't need my children to call home and wish happy Father's Day -- because it WAS ONE, and all were together. Time with Charlie, time with Hazel were sheer joy -- an added bonus. Wow . . . what a trip. I'm a blessed man.
