Out For A Spin

One of the milestones that Charlotte has hit this summer, has been to ride her tricycle. She completely has the "motion" down, of pedaling... and riding actually makes her have to focus with her eyes, and pay attention... she's learned that the hard way (by riding into a concrete wall... don't worry she wasn't going fast enough to leave a mark! just fast enough to startle her, so that she'd pay better attention). Instead of going down the hill for our mini walks along the gardens/Korean village, she wants to take her wheels out for a spin...

I think this week we'll do some crafts to help decorate her "wheels" a little.... stay tuned for some simple decorating DIY's.

  1. Incredible. Weeks ago, she wanted little to do with "her bicycle." In time, however, she really got the hang of it. Won't be long before the three-wheeler is history and you'll have to be on a "chase-her" bike . . . trying to keep up! Great, GREAT pics. Love the angles and unusual perspective. You are GOOD!

  2. aawwwww!! She is soooooo cute!! (I think I say that every time I come here, but it is ALWAYS true!!) :)
I have been fixing up my bike too and I hope to take it out for a spin soon!! Can't wait to see your decorating diys!! xo

  3. Way to ride, Charlotte! Isabel has figured out pedaling, but coordinating the steering hasn't yet worked out for her. What a great (and fun) accomplishment!

  4. What a cute bike! I love the little "trunk" space. :)

  5. Hey, LOVE your blog, I've been following it for awhile now and I think Charlotte is the cutest thing! But I have noticed that you wear skirts a lot. Is there a particular reason? I'm just curious. I think they are super cute, but just wondering.
    God bless y'all!

    1. thanks for following along :) I do wear skirts/dresses ALL the time :) Honestly.. I just adore them. I don't mind pants/shorts...but right now it's so CRAZY hot here, that have "less" on, feels sooo much cooler!
