Morning Walk

When the school year starts this September (for us)... I'll be homeschooling my little one. We're starting with Pre-School, and she couldn't be more excited. I've already started to come up with a semi-schedule, since I'm not usually one to have times blocked out for certain things... I'm quite the sporadic one, but I'm hoping to stick to a rhythm, so that we can have a successful year. Yes, there will be points during our day where spontaneity will be welcome (for my free spirit soul of course)... and to teach Charlotte that it's GREAT to be flexible...

One of the things I want to include into our daily schedule... is a little physical activity. Walks are such a fun thing for us... and we love chatting with one another about the beautiful colors or shapes that we spot. It's also sort of an artclass too... just admiring all that beauty... that wonderful beauty that God created.

Let the record state that I did NOT teach Charlotte how to pose with her arm above her head (like a model)... no. I. did. not. The girl learns all of her own moves on her own. I think this one had something to do with the fact that I caught her twirling her hair... oh thank you God for that beautiful hair... I adore it...
