After that, we decided against snorkeling in Hanauma Bay (we'll have to save that for another time), and decided to just drive the coast a bit. Charlotte was crazy tired, and I was scared of the rain clouds... they would trickle some rain, and then stop... and then trickle again.
We didn't have too much time to spare, because I had a photo session with a family that evening... but we did manage to enjoy the sweet breeze, before we got back in the Jeep, and made our way over to Kapolei... on the way, we were even greeted by a sweet little rainbow. A trip to Hawaii, isn't a trip, until you've seen one after all...
A sweet family from Korea, recently moved to Hawaii and when they heard I was coming, they asked for me to photograph them on the beach.. I was honored. Oh what a delight it was... we went to to this beautiful remote lagoon... and had a blast. You can see pictures of that shoot here. While I was photographing, Charlotte was swimming... Both of us ladies were doing what we love to do the most.
Such a beautiful place!! Even on a rainy day, it is beautiful...and leaves you with a rainbow :)
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely lovely! Were you at Sandy Beach by chance? I have so many memories of swimming that beach! My dad used to body surf there. Feels like a million years ago. *sigh* I cannot wait to take my kids there.
ReplyDeleteThat last photo is so picturesque.
