Week 8: Complete!

Week 8 of school came and went, in a blink of an eye... and we got lots accomplished... "H" and "I" were worked on this week, as well as the number "5"... and we did lots of painting- between making handprints, and painting our pumpkin mask (for fun- doesn't really go with our letter mission). Along with making handprints, we discussed "left" and "right"... and it's safe to say, a few days later, she still remembers, even without the letters on top of her hands.

We did lots of paint mixing as well... she was able to see how mixing two colors, could create a new color... and thought it was awesome. My favorite line came from her, when we were painting the pumpkin mask. We were mixing red and yellow, to get orange... and then blue and yellow, to get green... since we used so much yellow paint to create "other" colors, she said, "Wow, look at that yellow, it's super special."

Puzzles can entertain this girl for hours. Yes, HOURS. She adores any and all puzzles.

We also spent tons of time outside, the colors of fall are just so beautiful. We can't get enough!

  1. I love the fall colors, too... I wonder though how those last two would look in b/w because the contrast might bring out the face on the jackolantern especially in the one on the left.
