Fur Baby Heaven: Day 4

One of our "relaxing" days in Thailand, brought us to Tiger Kingdom. Yup, it's definitely the place for those that are lovers of HUGE fur babies. Seriously, these sweet tigers just warmed our hearts... and we could have spent HOURS watching them, and playing with them. I know what you're thinking... how did they not munch on you for dinner or breakfast or lunch, or as a snack? Easy... they grew up around humans and affection- no drugs needed to keep them "under" control... they're semi domesticated you could say. Those that train them, definitely keep them "in line" when they become naughty.

Before heading out of the city, we had a little impromptu shake... lets just say, the "no sugar" diet was broken while on vacation... it was super difficult to resist an ice cream cone or two or three when Haagan Daz was RIGHT below the hotel. Seriously, it was the worst TEMPTATION ever.

And then just like a taxi... we hailed a tuk tuk... and rode off for 30 minutes to Tiger Kingdom. We LOVED riding in the tuk tuk, we got to see so much of the city/people/culture, just from this little ride.

We decided once we were there, to go ahead and snuggle with the youngest fur babies possible... and that is just what we did.

  4. Oh, wow - this looks like the greatest place ever! There is a place outside of Tampa, FL (where I live) that lets you get close to baby tigers like this. It's on my list of things to do in 2013.
