As soon as he got home, he snuck into the bedroom with Charlotte to do some "wrapping", and I managed to sneak a peek of their "undercover mission"...
As soon as they were done, they came running out with gifts for me to unwrap... and I was completely shocked by what was in them!
SO excited to continue using my instant Polaroid digital camera.... it's super fun... you can print regular photos, or put a "polaroid" border on it... you can view the photos before printing, so you don't waste film... and it has the same charm that the old polaroid cameras have, lookwise.
We then made our way to get some yummy bagels (Charlotte's recommendation, and strangely it was the BEST decision EVER). I will take a Bagel sugar carb over a Cake sugar carb ANY day. We headed to a place called "Old School Bagel Cafe" and had the YUMMIEST sandwiches EVER. Their slogan is, "No New York in the name, but the bagels are the same"... um. yes.they.do.
We brought half a dozen home, and now this pregnant lady will have yumminess for the rest of the week! Oh, we also made our way to an architectural salvage yard which wasn't too far from the cafe, and let me just tell you, I was in shock as I looked around this place. It had amazing eclectic/vintage/antique items... we might have purchased something for the baby's room... and I might have to highlight it in a separate blog post.... it's way funky, and totally us. Having all my family with me all day long, an extremely pleased tummy, and visiting this shop, made for the best.birthday.EVER
