#25cupsofcheer

Last year when I flew home for Christmas, I was blessed by the sweetest gesture... a lady gave me a gift card to Starbucks, for "doing a great job as a Mama.. and for traveling by myself with 2 kiddos." It was so touching... that after she left, I had a tear in my eye.... kindness... it does exist. You can read about it here. Coffee... well, as all probably know... is my fuel. I knew I was pregnant with Finn and Marley, because my body refused to drink it... otherwise, it's what I love. I live for that first sip each morning, and drink a nice cup of decaf in the afternoon... yup, I drink it for it's taste, not for the caffeine. It was the BEST little act of kindness that someone could bestow to me.

To nurture Charlotte's love for others... we decided to do a project for the month of December (and probably will have a different project each month). She is a girl after my own heart, and enjoy a nice hot cup of coffee (decaf, naturally) as well... or hot cocoa. So, we decided to bless 25 people this month with $5.00 gift cards to Starbucks. Every day, leading up to Christmas, one individual will receive in some way, a card. Attached to each, we've written an encouraging note, and added that if they're on Instagram, to use a special hashtag (#25daysofcheer) to document their trip to Starbucks and drinking their yummy drink. This way, we can stalk... I mean, look daily at Instagram and she can see who has been receiving these cards, and be able to put a face with it. Super fun... and hoping it works it... but more so just want to spread some kindness and encourage others. To be a blessing to others...

  6. My sister got one of these on Saturday! She had just changed messy diaper and was about to hit the road back home (a 2+ hour drive). What a great way to bless another mama!
