Sometimes the sweetest things appear, when we least expect them to. Over two weeks ago, while we were preparing everything for our garage sale... I received a call from a dear friend to help her rescue a kitty that was down by her pond... completely abandoned. When we showed up with our cat carrier... we we surprised to find a sweet little kitty... not a feral, abandoned, stray kitty (which is what we thought we were picking up, only to drop off at the shelter the next day). Needless to say, this little guy showed up after we had all the major flooding, but still had possible storms pending... so we brought him to our home, to hold onto, to make sure he wouldn't wash away anywhere else, or for forever. He grew in our hearts immediately... it didn't take long. He loved on the kids... enjoyed all the pettings/scratches that they give him. He tried to make friends with Runyan, who wasn't really interested in making friends... yet. We just couldn't part with him... it was Charlotte that piped up and said that she'd like to keep him... that we should adopt him and love him, because he didn't have a Mama to take care of him. How could we say "no"?
So, it is our pleasure, to introduce you to the newest member of our family... the sweet... the cuddly (he's super snuggly)... the seven toed wonder...
.... Fievel.
We decided to name him Fievel, because his ears are GINORMOUS, like Fieval the mouse. He came to us after the huge amounts of rain/flooding, and Fievel was separated from his family because of a storm. We call him "Fiev" for short... which is also perfect, because he's our 5th baby/fur baby.
His seven toed paw is awesome
