From Where I Sit...

Today was one of those mornings... oh beautiful morning. The kind where all your kids wake up in a great mood, coffee was already brewed and ready to be poured before I was out of bed, and when I opened the front door to let the cats out to play, I was hit by this amazing breeze. Throw in a fairly empty schedule, and it made for a wonderful Wednesday. We made our way outside, pajamas and all, and got straight to playing. I sat with my hot cup of coffee...

3 kids... playing sweetly with one another...bed head that smelled like their mango shampoo from the night before's wash... sidewalk chalk scattered and tons of drawings all over the place... it looked like a rainbow threw up on my driveway... smeared chalk markings and dustings all over their skin... remnants of chalk that was tasted on their cheeks (Finn, not the girls)...the makings of a productive, playful Wednesday... occasional hugs... "look at this Mama!" ... sipping on steamy coffee... giggles all around... kitty prancing and playful with the kids... breakfast served (not by me), in one bowl, with one spoon, to serve 3... milk mustaches... sweet, happy clouds in the blue sky... and no where to be... just sitting still, breathing it all in...
