Narragansett, RI

Up until September 1, I had never stepped foot into Rhode Island... I'm surprised too, since I grew up on the east coast... and anywhere near the water was my happy place. When a bride (someone near and dear to me, that I met during our time overseas) asks you to photograph her wedding in a "new to you" location, you say yes. I mean, my two favorite things tied into one: photography and travel.

I had a few hours to kill before the big day began, so rather than sleep (I was totally on west coast time) in and ease into my day... I took advantage of that time, and explored a little bit. Made my way to the coast/seawall, a quick 5 minute drive. First on my list, was something yummy to eat and coffee.  Thank you Gnarly Donut, you greeted me with the cutest outside appearance, and your apple fritter, did not disappoint. I made my way to the Fisherman's Memorial for a breathtaking view of the lighthouse and coastline. My time flew way too quickly... I could have spent days exploring the shops, eateries, and beach combing. Narragansett... thank you. You completely charmed me.
