Festive in the Harbor
Things in the harbor, are extra cute this time of the year... lights dangling everywhere on the docks and boats, wreaths on all the lamp posts downtown, a Christmas tree lighting (accompanied by some songs from Charlotte's choir that she's a part of)... it's just a wonderful time of the year. Last year, I heard about the SUP'ers that deliver Christmas cheer... dressed in elf wear and Santa by their side, and knew that was going to be something fun for the kids to experience this year. We packed a lunch, and made our way to the boatyard... minutes later... the kids had a delightful little surprise. Candy canes were handed out, high fives were given... and a "We wish you a Merry Christmas" sang... Finn kept exclaiming, "Santa sounds like a girl.." and Marley walked away stating, "That's the yummiest candy cane I've ever eaten."
