Celebrating Marley's 5th

Summer birthdays... are plentiful around here... because school is out, they are also the birthdays that are easily celebrated for the ENTIRE family. Since her birthday fell on a weekday, we celebrated with  her choice of dinner (corn dogs and fries) and cake (her choice, chocolate with vanilla frosting and sprinkles) and presents... and then on the weekend, took one of her gifts (a flamingo float) out for a ride in the water. We packed a picnic dinner (Jersey Mikes subs, her favorite) along with watermelon, and made our way to her favorite beach. Lots of floating, and learning that the tide was a bit much (next time packing lifejackets), but fun nonetheless.
